Job description

Our client is seeking a highly experienced SAP Service & Asset Management (SAM) Architect/Consultant to join their SAP organization. This is an immediate need for a hands‑on SAP professional who can combine solution architecture and functional consulting expertise with practical implementation and delivery experience.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering SAP Service & Asset Management solutions that support end‑to‑end service and asset management processes. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, technical teams, and implementation partners to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions and drive successful delivery.

This is not a pure architecture or governance role. The successful candidate will be expected to remain hands‑on throughout the implementation lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP Service & Asset Management (SAM) solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions and end‑to‑end process designs.
• Perform hands‑on SAP configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation activities.
• Support requirements gathering, solution design, integration, data migration, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.
• Work with SAP functional and technical teams to develop integrations with SAP and non‑SAP applications.
• Identify process and system gaps and recommend effective SAP solutions.
• Provide guidance to development teams and implementation partners.
• Support continuous improvement, standardization, and optimization of SAP service and asset management processes.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP experience with strong experience in Service & Asset Management.
• Proven experience as an SAP Architect, Solution Architect, Lead Consultant, or Senior SAP Consultant.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP implementation and delivery, including configuration and testing.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, EAM/Asset Management, Plant Maintenance (PM), SAP Service, and/or Customer Service (CS).
• Experience with SAP integration and complex enterprise environments.
• Strong business process, solution design, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and remain hands‑on throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certification in relevant Service & Asset Management, EAM, PM, or related SAP functionality.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) / Plant Maintenance (PM).
• Experience with SAP Customer Service (CS) and/or SAP Service.
• Experience with SAP Field Service Management (FSM) or related field‑service solutions.
• Experience integrating SAP Service & Asset Management with other SAP modules and external enterprise applications.
• Experience with SAP Fiori and modern SAP user experiences.
• Experience with SAP BTP and SAP integration technologies.
• Experience with SAP implementation methodologies such as SAP Activate.
• Experience working with systems integrators or external implementation partners.

Salary/Rate: $70-$90/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
