Job description

The Publishing Operations team is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst with SAP expertise to join their growing team. This role involves gathering requirements, analyzing data, managing projects, supporting users, and maintaining documentation. It's an excellent opportunity for someone with SAP consulting experience who thrives on solving complex problems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the SAP MM and PP modules, as well as experience with SAP implementation, customization, and large data set analysis. This is a business analyst role that does not require coding but does require technical fluency and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. We are looking for someone who can multitask, stay motivated and curious, communicate clearly, and actively contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Specific responsibilities include:

1. Analyze business requirements and design solutions to improve business processes, particularly in the areas of SAP MM/PP modules.
2. Gather and manipulate large data sets to derive insights and drive business decisions.
3. Effectively manage complex, multi-system projects, with diverse stakeholder groups.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are understood and solutions meet business needs.
5. Adapt to changing needs of the business.
6. Conduct functional and technical analysis, create system design documentation, and perform configuration changes in a highly customized SAP system.
7. Develop and execute test plans to ensure that solutions are thoroughly tested and meet functional and technical requirements.

4. Proven experience designing and implementing solutions to optimize business processes.

The salary range for this role is $100,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience. All positions are currently eligible for an annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company performance.
