Hybrid Business Analyst/Technical Writer

Lime Trading Corp is seeking a hybrid Business Analyst/Technical Writer to bridge technical and business teams by creating clear documentation which we need to drive process improvements as well as troubleshoot issues. This role demands equal proficiency in requirements analysis and technical communication, ideal for candidates who excel at translating complex systems into user-friendly guides.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Documentation Development:

• Create technical manuals, system specifications, and API documentation using tools like Confluence/Jira.
• Maintain version-controlled repositories for architectural diagrams and data flowcharts

Requirements Elicitation:

• Conduct gap analysis and interviews with SMEs to define business rules, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Process Optimization:

• Map existing workflows and propose efficiency gains through automation or system architecture redesign.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Serve as liaison between developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure solution alignment with requirements.

User Support Materials:

• Develop troubleshooting guides, release notes, and training materials for systems.

Required Skills

• 3+ years in technical writing and business analysis role
• Proficiency in SQL queries, data mapping, and system integration concepts
• Expertise with JSON (Used for CAT/CAIS), or YAML authoring tools
• Agile methodology experience with Scrum/Kanban workflows
• Strong proficiency in BPMN 2.0 and / or UML modeling notations is essential. Experience with Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis and visualization tools

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s in computer science/Technical Communications

• Certifications: IIBA, PMI, BABOK, CBAP, PMP, or STC Technical Communication
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and API documentation
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) for data visualization
