Job summary

Constellation West seeks a SAP Security Officer to oversee SAP information security for ACCM programs extended to USSTRATCOM. The role requires DoD and national intelligence agency knowledge, ability to communicate with senior leaders, and strong coordination with civilian and military personnel.

Full-time position at Offutt AFB, NE. Requires Top Secret/SCI eligibility, TS/SCI considered, and polygraph readiness; includes program management, indoctrinations, and secure facility oversight.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and implementing security procedures across DoD, Joint Staff, services, and national intelligence agencies.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally to senior leaders.
• Ability to build effective relationships with civilians, military, and contractors.
• Proficiency with computers and current software to develop briefs, correspondence, and databases.
• Understanding of DoD directives, CJCS instructions, and security facilities.

Responsibilities

• Classify, mark, and audit SAP information/material and maintain an up-to-date inventory.
• Review CONOPS, orders, evaluations, and correspondence for correct classification.
• Provide security oversight and support to ACCM programs extended to USSTRATCOM.
• Submit program requests, indoctrinations, and debriefs; manage databases.
• Maintain SAP accredited facilities and ensure regulatory standards are met.
• Assist in physical security inspections and in transportation or destruction of SAP IT equipment.

Job Description and Tasks:

• Ensure that all SAP level information is properly classified, accounted for, marked, andaudited as required.Contractor shall maintain an up-to-date database reflecting all requiredinformation, accurate control and inventory of all SAP information/material as required.
• ReviewConceptofOperations(CONOPS),Orders,evaluations,appraisals,andother various correspondencesto determineappropriateclassification.
• Provide security oversight, management, control, and supportto ACCM programs extendedto USSTRATCOM.
• Submit program requests, conduct indoctrinations, and debriefs, perform databasemanagement, conduct physical security of accredited facilities, and other related duties.

• Assist, when required, with the transportation, couriering, and witnessing the destructionofSAPIT equipment and material.

Job Requirements/Required Skills:

• Must be fully vaccinated and if hired, will need to provide proof.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience and/orknowledge of security concepts, principles, and practices to plan and implement securityprocedures from Department of Defense, Joint Staff, Services, and national intelligence agenciesincluding knowledge of required non-SAP security training programs to meet needs of multiplesecuritydisciplines (Personnel,Industrial,Physical,Information,etc.).
• Abilitytocommunicate orallyand in writingtosenior USSTRATCOMleaders,through clear,concise,andtechnicallyaccuratewrittenmaterials.
• Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with civilian, military, and other contractors, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successfulaccomplishmentof themission.
• Ability to use computers, current software, i.e., Microsoft Office Suite, and printers todevelop, maintain, and produce various briefings, correspondence, and personnel databases forinternal/external use.
• Possess an awarenessof applicable Executive Orders, Department of Defense, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS), service and agencydirectives, regulations,orinstructions regardingsecurityoffacilities, communicationsequipment,personnel,and computers.
• An understanding of the roles and relationships of combatant commands, Joint Staff,Office of the Secretary of Defense, combat support agencies and other relevant USGdepartments,agencies, and organizations.
• The ability to ensure information is technically correct, accurate, and complete, toprepareandpresent briefingsandaccurate,comprehensivereportstoappropriatepersonnel.

Desired Skills:

• Proven staffing skills; practical experience and expertise with high level organizationswithin the DOD and other US Government agencies are highly desirable.

Security Clearance:

Top Secret security clearance and must be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI), Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) and Special Access Programs (SAP) access. Prior to contractor personnel being considered they must provide a completed SAP Personnel Security Pre-Screening Questionnaire to determine if they are eligible and able to obtain the necessary accesses to work in the facility. Contractors must be willing to complete and must pass a counterintelligence polygraph.
