Software Developer (Journeyman OR Senior)
- Current/Active U.S. DoD Clearance: Top Secret (SCI preferred). TS-Cleared applicants only need apply.
- Location: Offutt AFB ONSITE
- A high school diploma with a minimum of 6 years of software development experience
- OR
- A Bachelor of Science degree in STEM with a minimum of 2 years of software development experience
- OR
- A Master of Science degree in a STEM field with 0 years of software development
- A high school diploma with a minimum of 9 years of software development experience
- OR
- A Bachelor of Science degree in STEM with a minimum of 5 years of software development experience
- OR
- A Master of Science in a STEM field with 3 years of software development experience
- Full Stack Software Development
- Demonstrated experience in Java
- Proven experience with Windows OS
- Familiarity with relational database management systems (Oracle/PDBs) and SQL
- Working knowledge of the Agile development processes
- Familiarity with Test automation practices and tools (Integration testing, Unit testing, QFTest)
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with small technical teams
- Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results
- Experience working in Agile software development environment.
- Experience with Enterprise Database
- DevOps / DevSecOps experience
- Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD) setting up Jenkins Builds
- Software Security Tools such as SonarQube
- Demonstrated use of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and configuration management (SVN/Bitbucket)
- Constellation West is looking for a Software Developer to develop, create, and modify general computer applications software and specialized utility programs.
- The ideal candidate has ability to analyze user needs and develop software solutions, design software, and customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
- Must also have the ability to analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
- Must demonstrate a broad skill set balanced between interpersonal and technical capabilities achieving sustainable quality products.
- Show a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- This role will participate in the entire software development lifecycle with a concentration in software engineering.
- Works closely with other software developers accomplishing the following:
- Complete work independently and as a part of an Agile team
- Support team in completing necessary software on schedule
- Solve complex problems through innovative and creative solutions
- Collaborate with software designers and/or software engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of software systems
- Regularly demonstrate progress to customers
