Job summary

UT-Battelle at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) seeks a Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) to lead on-site program security for SAP programs in the Field Intelligence Element. The role requires implementing regulatory guidance and DoW/DOE procedures to ensure compliant security posture.

Responsibilities include developing security SOPs, supporting proposals with security requirements, conducting self-inspections, coordinating corrective actions, and maintaining security databases.

Qualifications

• BS and 5 years of relevant experience.
• Active, current, in scope US Top Secret or DOE Q security clearance is required. Must be willing to obtain SCI.
• Candidate must maintain clearance eligibility and be willing to undergo a polygraph examination as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise classified information systems, controlled areas, and alarms or emergency conditions.
• Assist with personnel security processing and self-inspections.
• Coordinate corrective action plans and develop security databases.
• Investigate security violations and prepare written reports.
• Develop SOPs and security education/training programs.
• Collaborate with IS and Industrial security staff on company-wide security education.
