Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a seasoned SAP Consultant to lead SAP SD/OTC implementations with SAP TM expertise, handling shipment, transportation, and 3PL scenarios. Fluency in ABAP debugging and strong EDI/IDoc experience are required.

The role will involve client workshops, requirement specs, and guiding solution changes across SAP modules with a focus on seamless integration with MM/LE. Collaboration across teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in SAP-PP and SAP SD with OTC and logistics modules.
• Engineering degree or equivalent education or experience.
• Strong SAP interface knowledge (EDI/IDoc) and ABAP debugging.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data quality and form solutions for prioritized gaps.
• Oversee architecture design and capability development.

Day to Day job Duties

At least 6 to 8 years’ of experience in SAP SD including Shipment and Transportation Functional Consultant Experience in Configuration of LTL, FTL, Packaging and parcel, 3PL scenarios of transportation, Strategic Freight Procurement Configurations.Good understanding of SAP Order Fulfillment Processes (OTC)Implementation knowledge of SAP TM related RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, BDCs, user exits and enhancementsFunctional-technical expertise of interfacing / integrating a variety of sources, such as barcode scanners, 3rd party applications.Strong functional configuration and implementation experience of complete Sales and Distribution module and Logistics execution.Understanding of transportation planning, scheduling, route determination, route optimization, freight rate management, tendering, SD Order integration etc.Should have logistics interface experience with 3rd party warehouse and other customer owned systemsVery good working knowledge of EDI and IDoc functionalityShould have good working experience on complex customization programs.Good technical understanding at the ABAP level – ability to debug codeGood knowledge of Integration between other modules, MM, LE including PPAbility to plan and deliver client-facing workshops if requiredAbility to write detailed functional specifications.Able to understand and work on Solution Manager Change Management process.
