Job summary

Protera is seeking a SAP SD & BTP Solutions Senior Consultant to join our client-focused delivery team in the United States. You will design and configure SAP SD processes, support Order-to-Cash, Logistics Execution, and Business Partners, and translate business requirements into functional designs for BTP extensions and CPQ workflows.

You will lead customer workshops, define integration requirements, mentor teammates, and guide end-to-end delivery from requirements through go-live.

Qualifications

• Strong functional expertise in SAP SD, with hands-on configuration experience across Order-to-Cash, Logistics Execution, and Business Partners.
• Experience translating customer processes into functional designs for both standard SAP configuration and BTP extension development.
• Hands-on experience defining functional and integration requirements for SAP BTP / customer specific solutions.
• Experience supporting implementations, AMS, upgrades, and brownfield migrations.
• Familiarity with end-to-end Order-to-Cash and Logistics Execution processes.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP and BTP solution designs.
• Polished communication style with the ability to engage at customer and executive levels.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure solutions across core SAP SD processes, including Order-to-Cash, Logistics Execution, and Business Partners.
• Lead or support workshops to gather requirements and translate them into functional designs for both standard SAP delivery and BTP application development.
• Coordinate with customers to define functional and integration requirements for BTP-based extensions and applications.
• Develop functional designs for BTP products supporting quoting, ordering, pricing, and CPQ; order status; delivery status and tracking; invoicing; and document management.
• Design and support workflow solutions such as Business Partner onboarding, Finance Approvals, and other custom business processes.
• Own solution design across the full delivery lifecycle: requirements, functional design, coordination with the customer, build, testing, cutover, go-live, and support.
• Contribute to implementations, enhancements, rollouts, AMS engagements, and brownfield migrations.
• Participate in data migration, testing, and defect resolution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in live systems, identifying root causes across integrated SD and BTP processes.
• Partner with business users to improve process efficiency, usability, and data accuracy.
• Support ongoing system improvements and standardization initiatives.
• Lead and provide mentorship to develop a strong foundation for operational growth.

Job description

The SAP SD & BTP Solutions Senior Consultant is an experienced SAP functional consultant with well-rounded exposure across SAP delivery and a primary focus in Sales & Distribution (SD). This role combines standard functional consulting delivery, including AMS and brownfield migration work, with the ability to understand a customer's business processes and requirements and translate them into functional designs for BTP application development.

You will work across Order-to-Cash, Logistics Execution, and Business Partner processes, and partner with customers to design BTP-based extensions supporting quoting, CPQ, customer portal, and workflow automation. The ideal candidate is polished in front of customers, able to understand their needs, translate them into clear solution paths, and deliver.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with CPQ, quoting, and pricing processes
• Experience with variant configuration – both legacy LO-VC and advanced AVC
• Experience designing and supporting customer portal solutions, including order status, delivery tracking, invoicing, and document management
• Functional experience with SAP BTP application development or extension design
• Familiarity with Fiori apps and S/4HANA user experience
• Demonstrated ability to expand into broader cross-functional areas
• Polished communication style, with the ability to engage confidently at customer and executive levels
