Job summary

OakTree Staffing is seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager to lead SAP/S4 implementation initiatives. You will manage scope, budget, and schedule, while guiding cross-functional teams through both agile and waterfall methodologies.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and adherence to PMO standards. Candidates should have a PM/IT background and experience with SAP, JIRA, and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage project scope, timeline, risks and budget according to PMO processes from beginning to end.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with dependencies, milestones, critical path and resource allocations.
• Communicate and provide continuous visibility to current schedule according to PMO processes and procedures.
• Forecast and manage project spend according to PMO processes and procedures.
• Lead project teams in conflict and issue resolution, risk identification and mitigation.
• Implement and maintain Agile practices, ensuring adherence to PMO standards
• Effectively plan and manage team resources including staffing and budget allocations
• Effectively communicate project status, aligning with stakeholders to meet goals
• Conduct project post mortems/lessons learned and create recommendations report
• Effectively communicate project KPIs and success expectations to team and stakeholders
• Develop and grow relationships with project leaders and stakeholders vital to success of projects
• Monitor PMO performance and implement improvement mechanisms
• Provide coaching on PMO processes including deliverables, planning, budget management, risk/issue remediation, governance
• Provide thought leadership on project success criteria
• Ensure consistency and quality in PMO methodologies, services and deliverables
• Assist other project managers to ensure governance controls when working with third parties
• Provides input for performance reviews and oversees day-to-day activities of junior staff
• Utilizes leadership skills to communicate issues and concerns
• Utilizes leadership skills to coach, mentor and train new and contract project managers on PMO standards and processes
• All other duties as assigned.
