Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an IT Business Analyst focused on SAP S/4HANA master data across MM, PLMSI, MDG, and PEO. The role requires strong functional SAP knowledge, data governance, and collaboration with ABAP developers to deliver integrated solutions for manufacturing and logistics operations.

The position can be based at any Lockheed Martin location or performed fully remotely, with a focus on data integrity, governance, and seamless system integration across enterprise production

Qualifications

• Significant experience with SAP S/4HANA in Material Management (MM), Product Lifecycle Management System Integration (PLMSI), Master Data Governance (MDG), or Production Engineering and Operations (PEO)
• Experience designing and supporting integrated master data processes across manufacturing and production environments
• Experience authoring functional specifications and translating them into technical design deliverables
• Experience collaborating with ABAP developers to design standardized functional solutions
• Proven ability to analyze large data sets, identify data quality issues, and support data-driven decisions
• Experience defining governance structures and validation rules for master data objects
• Ability to apply functional SAP knowledge to improve operational efficiency and standardization
• Experience with full system lifecycle activities (gap analysis, requirements gathering, blueprinting, development, testing, post go-live support)
• Strong communication and facilitation skills between technical and functional audiences
• U.S. Citizenship required for national defense systems

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design integrated master data processes supporting manufacturing, procurement, and production operations
• Lead design discussions across Production Operations and technical teams to align master data requirements and governance
• Configure SAP S/4HANA modules (MM, PLMSI, MDG, PEO) for master data creation, maintenance, and usage
• Author and maintain functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, and data governance automation
• Collaborate with ABAP developers and architects to standardize and deliver integrated solutions
• Support data migration, validation, and conversion during system cutovers and production transitions
• Develop and coordinate documentation, testing procedures, and end-user training for master data management
• Recommend and implement S/4HANA innovations and process improvements for master data across the value stream
• Use Jira and SAP Focused Build to manage requirements, design deliverables, and project workflows
