Job summary

Schaeffler is a global technology company seeking an experienced ABAP/Fiori developer to drive SAP projects across PLM modules and cloud-native components. You will design and implement ABAP solutions, integrate with SAPUI5/Fiori interfaces, and support deployments and go-lives globally.

The role emphasizes collaboration with IT teams, strong analytical thinking, and a high standard of quality. English fluency is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven ABAP development expertise including RICEF, classes, BADIs, BRF+.
• Experience with SAP Fiori apps, SAPUI5, and Fiori adaptations.
• Strong knowledge of RAP, CDS views, annotations, and OData services.
• Proficiency with ADT, SAP workflows, and API Management.
• Familiarity with BAS or WebIDE and PLM modules is a plus.
• Fluent English (B2+); German an asset.

Your Qualifications

• Extensive 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven expertise in ABAP development, including RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms), classes, BADIs (Business Add-Ins), BRF+
• Experience in developing Fiori applications including: SAPUI5 (Fiori Freestyle), Fiori Elements, Fiori adaptations and enhancements
• Solid understanding of RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), Core Data Services (CDS) views, annotations, and OData services
• Experience with Eclipse ABAP Development Tools (ADT)
• Experience with SAP workflows
• Experience with API Management
• Familiarity with Business Application Studio (BAS) or WebIDE
• Knowledge in PLM related modules DMS, SD, MM, PP, IC, GTS, QM is an advantage
• Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style with a strong quality mindset and analytical, conceptual thinking
• Very good command of the English language (min.B2 level)
• Knowledge of German is considered an asset
