Job summary

Gravity IT Resources is seeking a Finance SME with hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience to bridge Finance and IT in Charlotte, NC. The role will drive process improvements, system optimization, and transformation initiatives.

You will lead SAP S/4HANA enhancements, translate accounting requirements into SAP solutions, and support end-to-end processes across GL, AP, AR, assets, and close, partnering with accounting, FP&A, Tax, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Finance/Accounting with ERP experience.
• Hands-on S/4HANA implementation (not just end-user).
• Knowledge of GL, AP, AR, assets, and financial close.
• Ability to connect financial processes to system design.
• Strong communication with both business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Finance lead for SAP S/4HANA enhancements and support.
• Translate accounting requirements into functional SAP solutions.
• Support end-to-end processes (GL, AP, AR, Assets, Cost Centers, Close).
• Identify gaps and improve finance processes using S/4 best practices.
• Lead UAT, documentation, and post-go-live support.
• Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and IT teams.
• Drive issue resolution and continuous improvement.
