Vertage Inc. is seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA FICO Functional Consultant to lead finance transformations in a multi-company, multi-currency environment. The role requires hands-on configuration across FI/GL/AP/AR/AA and CO modules, with a focus on costings, product costing, and profitability analysis.

The position is in Dearborn, MI, hybrid (4 days onsite per week), with contract (W2). Ideal candidates have 7+ years of SAP S/4HANA FICO experience and a proven track record delivering end-to-end

Responsabilités

Senior SAP S/4HANA FICO Functional Consultant

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA FICO Functional Consultant to support a large-scale SAP Finance transformation initiative. This role requires a hands-on SAP professional with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling (FICO) configuration and implementation. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting complex finance processes across multi-company and multi-currency environments while collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams.

The ideal candidate will have successfully delivered multiple end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations and possess strong expertise in both Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO), particularly in Product Costing, Material Ledger, and Profitability Analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP S/4HANA FI and CO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA).
• Perform hands-on configuration for Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA), Product Costing (CO-PC), Material Ledger (CO-ML), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
• Configure and maintain company codes, exchange rates, substitutions, validations, and financial controls.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including ledger and subledger reconciliation processes.
• Manage and troubleshoot FCV/FCTA processes in multi-currency environments.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Sales, Production, and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration across SAP modules.
• Investigate application issues, perform root cause analysis, and debug ABAP code when required.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with Product Owners, Architects, and development teams.
• Support testing, deployment, user training, and go-live activities.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

• 7+ years of SAP S/4HANA FICO configuration experience.
• 6+ years of overall IT experience.
• Experience with multiple end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Proven expertise in multi-company code and multi-currency environments.
• Strong experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting processes.
