Job Title: SAP S/4HANA EAM Functional Consultant

Location: Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO (Hybrid with 25% travel between locations)

Employment Type: 2 Year Contract

Duration: Multi-year transformation project

Overview:

This client is undergoing a significant ERP transformation, migrating from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA with a focus on Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). This transformation impacts all business units and touches virtually every system connected to SAP, including ADMS, financial systems, supply chain, and more. SAP is the core system, and this role is crucial in ensuring a successful implementation and adoption across our operations.

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Functional Consultant with deep expertise in S/4HANA and EAM to support our operations team throughout this transformation. This individual will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external integrators to ensure that the new SAP S/4HANA solution meets the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert on SAP S/4HANA EAM within the operations organization.
• Support the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA, including design, configuration, testing, documentation, and production support.
• Collaborate with external integrators and internal technical teams.
• Lead functional activities such as requirements gathering, gap analysis, blueprinting, and end-user support.
• Ensure stability of the solution post-go-live, and document solutions and changes thoroughly.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate business needs into SAP functionality.
• Engage with cross-functional teams including finance, supply chain, field operations, and IT.
• Travel up to 25% between Minneapolis and Denver (expenses covered).

Required Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of SAP experience, including at least one full lifecycle implementation.
• Strong functional experience in SAP S/4HANA, with hands-on configuration and design skills.
• Specific experience in SAP EAM (Enterprise Asset Management).
• Proven experience with business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry experience in Utilities, Energy, or Oil & Gas (e.g., PG&E, CenterPoint Energy).
• Experience integrating SAP with Asset Manager, Field Service Management, or GIS solutions.
• S/4HANA EAM Certification highly desirable.

Additional Information:

• Interview Process: Two rounds of interviews via Microsoft Teams with a 4-person panel.
• Ramp-up Time: Expect approximately 6 months to become fully familiar with the clients SAP ecosystem and connected systems.
