Compensation Range: $100,600 - $135,000

Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.

Job Purpose

Responsible for the planning, budgeting, documenting, and oversight of all aspects of Business Application programs, including ERP, throughout the project lifecycle. The position leads the design, testing, planning, budgeting, and implementation of complex projects that typically affect many employees. The Project Manager works closely with senior management to ensure that project scope and direction are on schedule, and coordinates with other departments for support. The focus is on meeting project commitments.

This role requires driving consistency in system implementation and best practices, understanding LEAN methodologies, and working across all lines of business. Strong communication skills, relationship building, and a focus on both Business and MIS resources, processes, and deliverables are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with IT leadership and Business Application Managers to realize enterprise application roadmaps.
  • Develop project plans and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Lead the development and implementation of coordinated plans and programs to meet organizational goals.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Establish realistic timelines and goals for project deliverables.
  • Demonstrate superior collaboration skills to define solutions, resolve conflicts, and build partnerships.
  • Work with Organizational Change Management to drive change and ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project budgets.
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using standard methodologies.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Manage project status, risks, and issues with escalation mechanisms.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate project risks.
  • Establish and cultivate relationships inside and outside of EnerSys.
  • Conduct follow-up meetings to improve project management processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

10+ years of experience with SAP S/4 and/or SAP ECC, including configuration, implementation, and project management.

Experience with 2-3 end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA implementations in a large enterprise manufacturing setting.

Strong IT Application Project Management skills; PMI or equivalent certification preferred.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to evaluate IT and business challenges broadly.

LEAN process experience is strongly preferred.

Experience in large, complex, fast-paced organizations.

Technical Skills

Experience with project management software such as MS Project, Jira, and Smartsheet.

Understanding of end-to-end business process lifecycle requirements.

5-6 years of SAP functional module experience in SD, MM, EWM, PP, FICO, prior to transitioning to a PM role.

Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP or Prince II certification.

Experience with other project management tools and implementing Data & Analytics platforms.

Travel required: Moderate to medium during core project phases.
