The role covers release calendar ownership, planning, go/no-go meetings, change approvals, and deployment readiness across Development, QA, and Production environments. Strong collaboration with SAP Basis, Security, and Validation teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP release and change management experience.
• Proven ability to govern releases across maintenance, enhancement, and project deployments.
• Strong coordination with multiple teams for deployment readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the SAP-MD release calendar across maintenance, enhancement, and project releases.
• Facilitate release planning, readiness, and go/no-go meetings.
• Review, govern, and approve SAP-MD change requests and deployment activities.
• Perform transport review and ensure compliance with release and change processes.
• Coordinate transport migrations across Development, PRT, QA, and Production environments.
• Partner with SAP Basis, Infrastructure, Security, Validation, and Projects teams for readiness.
• Manage maintenance releases, emergency changes, and project deployment schedules.
• Lead cutover planning, implementation coordination, and post-release validation.
• Track release risks, dependencies, conflicts, and mitigation actions.
• Provide release status reporting, deployment metrics, and governance updates to SAP-MD leadership.
