Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed is seeking a SAP Receiving Clerk to oversee the receipt, recording, and payment processing of goods. You will work with Purchasing, Finance, Warehouse, and Operations to ensure accurate data in SAP and related systems and support plant operations.

The role requires an Associate degree and 3+ years in receiving or inventory roles, with SAP experience preferred. On-site position with focus on accuracy, organization, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three+ years in receiving, accounts payable, inventory control, or related role, preferably in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Process and verify daily receipt of raw materials and other plant deliveries within SAP and related systems.
  • Maintain accurate receiving, inventory, and vendor documentation records.
  • Audit and resolve outstanding purchasing, receiving, and invoice discrepancies.
  • Support Purchasing, Finance, Warehouse, and Operations teams with reporting and administrative activities.
  • Conduct inventory verification and support cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
  • Monitor raw material receipts and reconcile daily receiving records.
  • Perform data entry and maintain plant records and files.
  • Support continuous improvement, safety, and 5S initiatives within the warehouse and plant environment.
  • Provide general administrative support, including vendor communication and office administration tasks.

Job description

The SAP Receiving Clerk is responsible for overseeing the receiving, tracking, and payment processing of goods and services. This role supports plant operations by ensuring accurate receipt and documentation of materials, maintaining inventory and procurement records, and coordinating closely with Purchasing, Finance, Warehouse, and Operations teams. The position plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity within SAP and other business systems while supporting efficient plant operations and customer service.

  • Process and verify daily receipt of raw materials and other plant deliveries within SAP and related systems.
  • Maintain accurate receiving, inventory, and vendor documentation records.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Associate degree (2-year college degree) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in receiving, accounts payable, inventory control, or a related role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience working with SAP and other manufacturing/business systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and data.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Experience supporting inventory management, cycle counts, receiving, and purchasing processes preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach as needed.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when in production areas.

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $44,000.00 to $69,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 7% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $47,080.00 to $73,830.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
