Job description

Job Title: SAP Architect

A growing software company is actively seeking a SAP Architect to join their team. The SAP Architect will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, optimization, and integration of SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR), SAP Contract Accounting (FI-CA), and SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) solutions.

Note: This position requires occasional travel to Seattle, WA, and San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:

1. Design scalable and compliant financial solutions, ensuring adherence to IFRS 15 / ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
2. Lead end-to-end architecture for SAP RAR & FI-CA integration with Salesforce and SAP BRIM.
3. Design and implement revenue recognition models for various contract types.
4. Define integration points between SAP RAR, FI-CA, SAP BRIM, and SAP GL.
5. Support accounts receivable, invoice processing, payments, dunning, and settlements in SAP FI-CA.
6. Architect event-based revenue recognition and automated contract modifications in SAP RAR.
7. Lead the design of the Order-to-Cash process, integrating SFDC, SAP BRIM, and RAR.
8. Develop and document business processes, functional designs, and technical specifications.
9. Ensure SAP BRIM modules are optimized for customer needs.
10. Define and implement revenue recognition processes in SAP RAR in compliance with standards.
11. Provide guidance on billing models and revenue recognition frameworks.
12. Design audit trails, reconciliation processes, and revenue event triggers.
13. Lead workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing.
14. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and post-implementation enhancements.

Qualifications:

1. 10+ years of SAP Finance experience, including 5+ years in SAP RAR & FI-CA.
2. Hands-on experience with SAP RAR and FI-CA.
3. Strong knowledge of SAP BRIM, SD, and FI-GL integration.
4. Expertise in revenue contract management and event-based revenue processing.
5. Deep understanding of FI-CA functionalities.
6. Experience implementing IFRS 15 / ASC 606 frameworks.
7. Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and migrations.
8. Ability to define custom enhancements and automation strategies.
9. Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

1. SAP Certification in BRIM, RAR, or S/4HANA Finance.
2. Experience integrating RAR with Salesforce.
3. Experience with SAP BTP and cloud-based integrations.
4. Knowledge of AI/ML-based pricing or predictive analytics.
5. Experience with DevOps methodologies.
