Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking an experienced SAP PS Consultant to lead project systems implementations in the USA. The role requires hands-on PS configuration, blueprinting, testing, and deployment across large-scale projects with cross-functional teams.

You will coordinate with global stakeholders, drive templates, manage budgeting and costing, and deliver training and post-implementation support to ensure successful adoption of SAP S/4HANA PS across complex programs in EST time zone.

Qualifications

• 10+ years SAP PS implementation experience across multiple end-to-end lifecycles.

Project Overview

SAP Project Systems (PS) module to support the planning, execution, monitoring, and financial control of large-scale projects. We are seeking an experienced SAP PS Consultant to play a key role throughout the end-to-end implementation lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery and adoption of the solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP PS implementation activities from requirements gathering through go-live and hypercare support.
• Conduct business workshops to understand project management, costing, budgeting, and execution requirements.
• Drive solution design, blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and internal IT teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
• Assess and leverage existing SAP PS template and identify any gaps or enhancements required to meet business needs.
• Configure SAP PS functionalities including project structuring, WBS elements, networks, milestones, budgeting, planning, settlements, and reporting.
• Support integration activities with other SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, and PM as required.
• Develop functional specifications and support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and defect resolution.
• Deliver end-user training and provide post-implementation support to ensure successful adoption.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP Project Systems (PS) implementation experience with multiple end-to-end project lifecycles.
• Strong expertise in SAP PS configuration, design, and best practices.
• Experience leading requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment activities.
• Strong understanding of project-based business processes, budgeting, costing, and project execution.
• Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-functional SAP teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, energy, or project-driven industries.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Project Systems.
• Experience working within template-based global SAP environments and driving template compliance while addressing business-specific requirements.

Success Factors

The successful candidate will serve as the SAP PS functional lead for the implementation, ensuring that existing SAP standards are leveraged wherever possible while enabling the business to achieve its project management and execution objectives efficiently and effectively.
