This fully remote senior role manages scope, timelines, budgets, and cross-functional coordination with SD consultants, the SI, and business stakeholders to ensure Order-to-Cash support. The ideal candidate has 5+ years SAP PM experience, SD module expertise, and strong RAID log management with executive reporting capabilities across SAP

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP implementations, upgrades, and transformations with SD ownership.
• Plan timelines, scope, budgets, risks; ensure governance and reporting to executives.
• Coordinate with SD consultants, SI partners, and business stakeholders.
• Oversee FUT/UAT, manage SD integrations with MM and FI/CO modules.
• Maintain RAID log, escalate issues, and track changes with vendors/SIs.
• Provide regular executive status updates on milestones and decisions.

Our client, a manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead SAP implementation, upgrade, and support initiatives, with a specific focus on the Sales & Distribution (SD) workstream. This is a fully remote role for a senior resource who can own end-to-end project delivery — managing scope, timeline, budget, and cross-functional coordination — while working closely with SD functional consultants, the system integrator, and business stakeholders to ensure the module supports the organization's Order-to-Cash process effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP implementation, upgrade, and transformation initiatives, with particular ownership of the Sales & Distribution workstream. Manage project planning, timelines, scope, budgets, and risk mitigation across all project phases. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including SD functional consultants, technical resources, business stakeholders, and system integrator partners. Oversee functional unit testing (FUT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities to ensure SD configuration meets business requirements. Manage SD-related dependencies and integration points with MM, FI/CO, and other connected modules. Own and maintain the RAID log, driving timely escalation and transparent governance reporting. Produce regular executive status updates covering risks, milestones, and key decisions. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels — from technical specialists to executive sponsors. Manage vendor/SI change request approvals, cost tracking, and resource delivery accountability.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP Project Management experience, including full project life cycle implementations
• Direct experience with the SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) module and its integration points (Order-to-Cash process, MM, FI/CO)
• Strong understanding of As-Is/To-Be and Fit-Gap analysis methodology
• Experience managing SIT/UAT planning and execution
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and third-party SI partners
• Strong RAID log management and executive reporting skills
• Experience with project management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or discrete manufacturing environments
• Experience with S/4HANA implementations (greenfield or brownfield)
• PMP or SAP Activate Project Manager certification
• Experience managing global or multi-entity SAP rollouts
