Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a large, global SAP S/4HANA transformation within a multi-site manufacturing environment.
About the Role
This individual will coordinate across business functions, Global IT, local subject-matter experts, and implementation partners to ensure planning, governance, testing, readiness, and deployment activities remain aligned and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate planning and execution across multiple project workstreams
- Develop and maintain an integrated project plan
- Track milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and critical-path activities
- Manage the RAID log and elevate risks and issues appropriately
- Prepare executive-level status reports and presentations
- Coordinate activities with the Global PMO and implementation partners
- Facilitate governance meetings and cross-functional working sessions
- Support System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing
- Coordinate data, business, and organizational readiness
- Support cutover planning and deployment readiness
- Integrate organizational change activities into the overall project plan
- Ensure functional and technical workstreams remain aligned
- Drive decisions and accountability across teams without direct authority

Qualifications
- Senior-level project or program management experience
- Experience leading large, complex ERP implementations
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Strong integrated project-planning and RAID-management skills
- Cross-functional leadership experience
- Executive communication and reporting experience
- Strong facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to influence decisions and hold teams accountable without direct authority
- Ability to manage complex projects within a highly matrixed global organization
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to one or more SAP modules is preferred, including:
- SD
- MM
- PP
- FI/CO
- EWMA
- APO, where applicable
Additional preferred experience includes:
- Global ERP implementations
- Testing leadership
- Cutover and deployment planning
- Organizational change management
- PMP, Prosci, Agile, or related certifications are beneficial but not required.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, collaborative, and calm under pressure. They should possess strong executive presence, political awareness, and the ability to work effectively across global teams. This individual must be comfortable operating in ambiguity, willing to challenge assumptions, and able to hold leaders accountable while maintaining a low-ego, team-focused approach.
