Job summary

RED Global is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead manufacturing and supply chain delivery for a large S/4HANA transformation across a complex enterprise.

The role requires strong hands-on PP/DS and AVC expertise, SAP SD/IM process knowledge, and proven automotive industry project delivery. Expect governance, budgets, risk management and cross-functional collaboration with vendors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA implementation programmes.
• Hands-on SAP PP/DS and AVC experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP SD, Procurement and Inventory Management processes.
• Automotive SAP project delivery experience.
• Experience with SAP Activate and Fit-to-Standard methodologies.
• Ability to manage governance, budgets, risks, stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP programme governance, budgets, risks and stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors across delivery streams.
• Run workshops, cutover, go-live and hypercare activities.
• Ensure alignment of manufacturing, production planning and wider supply chain processes.

SAP Project Manager - PP/DS & AVC

12 month contract + extensions

Midwest / East USA - 50% travel

RED Global are supporting a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programme and are seeking an experienced, hands‑on SAP Project Manager to lead manufacturing and supply chain delivery activities across a complex enterprise environment.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA implementation programmes
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP PP/DS (Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling)
• Experience with SAP Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC)
• Strong understanding of SAP SD, Procurement and Inventory Management processes
• Proven experience delivering SAP projects within the Automotive industry
• Experience with SAP Activate and Fit-to-Standard methodologies
• Ability to manage project governance, budgets, risks, stakeholders, vendors and cross-functional teams
• Experience leading workshops, cutover, go‑live, hypercare and deployment activities
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, production planning and wider supply chain processes
• SAP Signavio experience beneficial
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud implementations advantageous
• Must be based in the Midwest or East USA and comfortable with approximately 50% travel
