Job summary

Supermicro in San Jose, CA is seeking an experienced Manager, Enterprise Applications Project Management to lead SAP programs from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will manage upgrades, migrations, and deployments, coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure on-time delivery within budget, and drive best practices in SAP implementation.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and a track record of delivering complex SAP programs on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• At least 8 years of SAP engagement and project management experience with large SAP programs.
• Experience leading S/4 Upgrade & Migration engagements.
• Professional certification such as PMP is desirable.
• Strong English verbal and written skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP project management from initiation to closure.
• Define scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Manage risks and issues with corrective actions.
• Facilitate status meetings and report to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and standards.
• Guide technical teams through configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Mentor junior project managers and ensure proper documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.
• Manage engagement budgets and contracts including change management.
