Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior SAP PMO leader to drive governance, delivery excellence, and cross‑workstream coordination for large SAP transformation programs in the US. You will orchestrate phase gates, readiness activities, and executive reporting while applying automation and GenAI capabilities to improve efficiency.

You will lead teams across business, functional, technical, testing, deployment, and change workstreams, coaching junior members and ensuring aligned, high‑quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years total professional experience in SAP project environments, IT consulting, or enterprise transformation.
• Minimum of 5 years experience supporting or leading SAP programs in a PMO or project management capacity.
• Participation in at least 2 full end‑to‑end SAP implementation lifecycles (ECC or S/4HANA).
• Hands‑on experience across project planning, RAID management, financial tracking, resource management, status reporting, and governance/SteerCo support.
• Experience coordinating phase gate and readiness activities and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a PMO function or program management workstream, ensuring governance, reporting, planning, communications, and stakeholder management.
• Establish and improve ways of working, tools, governance processes, and reporting structures for SAP delivery.
• Coordinate phase gate and readiness activities, tracking entry/exit criteria and readiness gaps.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated plans, dashboards, status reports, risk registers for program health.
• Apply AI, GenAI, automation, and analytics to modernize PMO operations and governance.
• Monitor program metrics and provide insights to leadership for delivery outcomes.
• Build relationships across client organizations, Accenture teams, and partner ecosystems.
• Support business development with practical delivery experience and PMO expertise.
• Travel up to 100% based on client engagement requirements.
