The opportunity

We are seeking a proactive SAP professional to join our Technical Consulting team within the SAP Manufacturing domain in the Core Supply Chain team. You will collaborate with external clients and internal teams, applying your strong SAP expertise to help clients achieve better outcomes and lasting results. Utilizing our expertise in tax, assurance, transaction and risk, and your ability to implement SAP solutions, you will contribute to innovative solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a functional SAP Manufacturing Subject Matter Resource (SMR) during project implementations. Facilitate design workshops, gather requirements, and recommend S/4 HANA best practices tailored to client needs. Guide the implementation of these solutions within client SAP ecosystems.
• Demonstrate in-depth functional capabilities of SAP Production Planning (PP) and related modules, coupled with strong business understanding.
• Ensure high-quality client service, track project milestones, manage risks, and communicate progress and outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with key client personnel at relevant levels.

Skills And Attributes For Success

On your typical engagement, you will work with stakeholders to understand their manufacturing and quality management needs and advise on how SAP capabilities can address their pain points. You will gather requirements, architect solutions, create blueprints, test, document workflows, and design solutions. You will liaise with stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into business solutions, including configurations, customizations, and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of related experience with SAP Production Planning (PP).
• At least 2 years of experience with SAP ERP and/or SAP S/4 HANA systems in manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP PP configuration, master data, and end-to-end understanding of the module.
• Strong communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills, with experience producing business process design and functional specification documents.
• Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations and new technologies.
• Willingness to travel 40-60% to meet client needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior consulting experience or deep functional expertise in manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP external integrations to MES, MII, ME, DMC, etc.
• SAP certifications in Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related modules.
• Experience with at least one full SAP PP or QM implementation cycle.
