The Opportunity

We are seeking a forward-thinking SAP professional to join our Technical Consulting team within the SAP Manufacturing domain in the Core Supply Chain team. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams, using your SAP expertise to help clients achieve better outcomes and sustainable results. Your role will involve implementing SAP solutions that drive innovation and efficiency.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a functional SAP Manufacturing Subject Matter Resource (SMR) during project implementations. Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and recommend S/4 HANA best practices tailored to client needs. Guide the implementation of these solutions within client SAP ecosystems.
• Demonstrate in-depth functional knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP) and related modules, along with strong business acumen.
• Ensure high-quality client service, monitor project milestones, manage risks, and communicate progress effectively with stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with key client personnel at various levels.

Skills and Attributes for Success

You will work with stakeholders to understand their manufacturing and quality management needs, advising on SAP system capabilities to address pain points and gaps. Your responsibilities include requirement gathering, solution architecture, blueprinting, testing, documentation, and functional design. You will liaise with stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into business solutions and complete configurations, customizations, or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience in a functional role with exposure to SAP Production Planning (PP).
• At least 2 years of experience with SAP ERP and/or SAP S/4 HANA systems in the manufacturing domain.
• Experience with configuration, master data, and end-to-end understanding of SAP PP.
• Strong communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills, with experience producing business process design documents and functional specifications.
• Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies.
• Willingness to travel 40-60% to meet client needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior consulting experience or deep functional expertise in manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP external integrations to MES, MII, ME, DMC, etc.
• SAP certifications in Manufacturing, Quality Management (QM), or related modules.
• Experience with full cycle SAP PP or QM implementations.
