Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP experience with strong SAP S/4HANA PP and manufacturing expertise.
• Experience with ETO/project-based manufacturing, SAP PS/WBS-driven demand, embedded PP/DS, and SAP DM/MES execution.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, production orders, capacity planning, and cross-functional integration.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process design, UAT, defect resolution, training, and global-template deployments.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) – Manufacturing Consultant to lead S/4HANA planning and execution for project-based, engineer-to-order (ETO) manufacturing. The consultant will translate business requirements into standardized processes, support testing and user readiness, and connect SAP Project Systems (PS)-driven demand, embedded PP/DS planning, S/4HANA production orders, and SAP Digital Manufacturing (SAP DM/MES) execution.

Key Responsibilities

SAP S/4HANA Production Planning – Manufacturing Lead

• Lead SAP S/4HANA PP and manufacturing process design, standardization, and rollout.
• Manage ETO and project-based manufacturing from SAP PS/WBS-driven demand through MRP, capacity planning, production orders, confirmations, goods movements, and settlement.
• Drive detailed planning and scheduling with embedded PP/DS (ePP/DS).
• Align S/4HANA production orders with shop-floor execution in SAP Digital Manufacturing (SAP DM/MES).
• Coordinate business stakeholders, the global template team, and cross-functional SAP teams.

Business Requirements & Process Design

• Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder workshops.
• Translate current processes into standardized, practical S/4HANA solutions aligned with the global template.
• Maintain process flows, functional documentation, and operating procedures, including SAP PP–PS integration.

UAT & System Validation

• Develop and execute end-to-end UAT scenarios covering planning, project-linked production, SAP DM/MES execution, and integration.
• Document defects, coordinate resolution, validate fixes, and support business readiness.

Manufacturing Data & Integration

• Validate manufacturing master and transactional data, including materials, BOMs, routings, work centres, production versions, and MRP parameters.
• Support integration across PP, PS, MM, QM, PM, WM/EWM, Finance, and SAP DM/MES.

MES & Manufacturing Rollout Support

• Support SAP DM/MES rollout, ERP integration testing, process alignment, troubleshooting, root-cause resolution, and business stabilisation across planning, production orders, interfaces, and shop-floor execution.
• Identify and close gaps between S/4HANA planning, production orders, and shop-floor execution.

Training & Change Management

• Create user documentation, deliver training, and support adoption through go-live and stabilisation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of SAP experience with strong SAP S/4HANA PP and manufacturing expertise.
• Hands-on experience with ETO/project-based manufacturing, SAP PS/WBS-driven demand, embedded PP/DS (ePP/DS), and SAP DM/MES execution.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, production orders, capacity planning, manufacturing master data, and cross-functional integration.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process design, UAT, defect resolution, training, and global-template deployments.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with greenfield S/4HANA transformations and manufacturing
• SAP DM or MES rollouts with integration experience with SAP is preferred.
• Background in complex discrete, industrial, heavy, automotive, or engineering manufacturing.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate and agile delivery practices.
