Job summary

100Hires, Inc. in Franklin, MA is seeking a Production Planner to plan production schedules that meet customer delivery dates and maximize plant capacity.

The role involves maintaining material master data, releasing cost estimates, and coordinating with Sales and Production Management to keep the schedule on track. The ideal candidate has an Associate degree or equivalent and 3+ years in production planning, with SAP R/3 Logistics experience and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or two-year technical degree in a related field with 3 years of related experience
• APICS certification is a plus
• Experience with SAP R/3 Logistics (Production Planning) desired
• Strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills; able to build relationships at all levels
• Ability to work overtime as required by production/customer demands

Responsibilities

• Plan production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and maximize capacity utilization
• Maintain material master data (costing lot sizes, production lot sizes, safety stock)
• Analyze, plan, and confirm sales orders with respect to capacity and material requirements
• Create production orders and communicate critical dates to Sales
• Resolve bottlenecks with Production Management and drive corrective actions
• Monitor exception messages and deltas; implement changes to production schedule
• Interface with Sales on order status and schedule changes
• Ensure ISO/AS9100 and ITAR/EAR compliance across purchasing and planning
