Job summary

Planet Group seeks an SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant for a contract-to-hire role in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will work hands-on with the PP lead on a variety of PP assignments, with the potential to convert to a full-time position.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of SAP experience, strong configuration knowledge, and the ability to lead workshops, support users from shop floor to executives, and leverage AI tools to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on SAP Production Planning (PP) experience.
• Experience in discrete manufacturing operations.
• Strong SAP PP configuration and process knowledge.
• Experience with SAP implementations, enhancements, or large-scale transformations.
• Proven ability to support users from shop floor through executive leadership.
• Familiar with using AI tools to boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Support production orders, shop floor control, and production confirmations.
• Manage material requirements planning (MRP) and capacity planning.
• Maintain material master data, BOMs, routings, work centers, production versions.
• Handle backflush processing and goods issue/goods receipt processes.
