Job summary

A leading technology firm is seeking an experienced SAP PP/DS Consultant with a strong hands-on expertise in Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling. The role requires real implementation experience and a background in Manufacturing or Automotive domains. Qualified candidates will have robust experience in SAP PP/DS and the ability to work remotely with occasional travel to Michigan or Mexico. This position lasts for 6 months with potential extensions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP/DS, not just PP or QM.
• Experience with at least 1 full implementation in PP/DS.
• 15–20 years of overall experience ideally in Manufacturing / Automotive.
• Willingness to travel to Michigan or Mexico with EST/CST remote work.

Open to remote candidates in EST/CST with occasional travel to Michigan or Mexico

Key Requirements

• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP PP/DS (not just PP or QM)
• Experience with at least 1 full implementation
• Expertise in PPDS Setup Optimizer
• Experience with PPDS BAdI enhancements
• 15–20 years of overall experience
• Background in Manufacturing / Automotive domain

Core Skills

• SAP S/4HANA PP/DS (Embedded or DSC Edition)
• Detailed Scheduling, Planning Board, Pegging
• Constraint‑based planning and sequencing
• Cross‑location planning and supply optimization
• Production planning and scheduling strategies

Nice to Have

• APO ABAP experience
• End‑to‑end supply chain knowledge (Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics)
• Automotive or discrete manufacturing experience
