Job summary

TEEMA seeks an experienced SAP Planning Consultant in Lawrenceville, NJ to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation and IBP transformation. You will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to design and configure planning solutions across demand, supply, production, inventory, and S&OP.

The role requires hands-on SAP configuration, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and test execution, with a focus on end-to-end process integration and data migration support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an SAP Planning, Supply Chain, PP, IBP, or related functional consultant.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA planning and supply chain functionality.
• Hands-on experience with SAP IBP, SAP Production Planning (PP/PP-DS), Demand Planning, Supply & Response Planning, Inventory Optimization, S&OP.

Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Planning Consultant to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation/transformation. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical resources to design and implement SAP planning solutions that support demand, supply, production, and inventory planning processes.

What you will be doing:

• Work with business stakeholders to understand current planning processes, requirements, challenges, and future‑state objectives.
• Design and configure SAP solutions supporting demand planning, supply planning, production planning, inventory planning, and forecasting.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and SAP solution designs.
• Configure and optimize planning functionality within SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
• Support planning processes across areas such as Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP and Production Planning.
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and other functional teams to ensure end-to-end process integration.
• Participate in workshops, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and process mapping.
• Support master data requirements related to materials, products, locations, resources, BOMs, routings, and planning parameters.
• Develop and execute functional and integration test scenarios.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, go‑live, and post-production stabilization.
• Assist with data migration and validation activities related to planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and leverage SAP standard functionality.
• Develop functional documentation, process flows, training materials, and knowledge‑transfer documentation.

What you must have:

• 5+ years of experience as an SAP Planning, Supply Chain, PP, IBP, or related functional consultant.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA planning and supply chain functionality.
• Hands‑on experience with one or more of the following:
  • SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
  • SAP Production Planning (PP/PP-DS)
  • Demand Planning
  • Supply & Response Planning
  • Inventory Optimization
  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain and planning processes.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into SAP functional solutions.
• Experience with SAP configuration, functional specifications, testing, and defect resolution.
• Understanding of planning‑related master data and integration with other SAP modules.
• Experience supporting at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation or major transformation.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience implementing SAP IBP in an S/4HANA environment.
• Experience with PP/DS or Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO).
• Experience migrating from SAP ECC/APO to S/4HANA/IBP.
• Manufacturing, retail, consumer products, food service, or distribution industry experience.
• Experience with complex, multi‑site or global SAP implementations.
• SAP certification in IBP, PP, S/4HANA Supply Chain, or a related area.
