Job summary

Pioneer Management Consulting seeks a SAP Business Process Lead to own the Plan to Produce workstream on a large SAP S/4HANA transformation. This business-first role ensures process design drives system decisions and outcomes.

You will guide cross-functional teams through fit-to-standard workshops, manage dependencies, and maintain process integrity from design through deployment. Remote work with periodic travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Extensive SAP business process design experience, independent of the tool.
• Experience implementing SAP as a business-led initiative with process-driven design.
• Understanding of Plan to Produce functionality within SAP S/4HANA (demand, production, quality, etc.).
• Ability to map processes, master data, and inputs to drive design.
• Past experience creating business process flows.
• Preferred: familiarity with BPMN and SAP Active Methodology.

SAP Business Process Lead, Plan to Produce

We are seeking a SAP Business Process Lead to own the Plan to Produce workstream on a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation. This is a business-first role: the lead is accountable for business process design on a project where the transformation is focused around business outcomes rather than technical scope.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business through the Plan to Produce workstream transformation
• Take the primary role in guiding the entire program through fit-to-standard workshops (for Plan to Produce domain)
• Resolve cross-workstream process dependencies
• Hold the line on process integrity across design, build, and deployment

Requirements

• Deep business process design experience, primarily within SAP, but grounded in a strong understanding of the underlying business operations independent of the tool
• Has implemented SAP as a business-led initiative where process design drives system design
• Understand SAP S/4HANA functionality within Plan to Produce, spanning:
  • Demand management and supply planning
  • Production engineering and execution
  • Material staging and production supply
  • Quality management
  • Batch and inventory management
• Able to work backward from that functionality to define the business processes, master data, and inputs required to drive it
• Past experience creating business process flows

Preferred

• Working understanding of SAP's 'Active Methodology' having leveraged the SAP Best Practice flows
• Experience creating business process flows following BPMN standards

Additional Details:

Job Type: ContractPay: $115-130 per hour. This is a 1099 independent contractor engagement and is not eligible for Pioneer benefits.Work Location: Remote, some travel may be required to client site (monthly/quarterly).
