Role Description The SAP Plan-to-Make Consultant – PP, MM & Variant Configuration will work as part of a contract engagement to support manufacturing and supply chain processes in a hybrid setup based in St Louis, MO, with some flexibility for work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing current plan-to-make processes, configuring and optimizing SAP PP, MM, and Variant Configuration modules, and aligning system design with business requirements. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and conduct testing and validation of configurations and enhancements. Additional tasks include preparing documentation, supporting user training, resolving system issues, and coordinating with cross-functional SAP teams (such as FICO) to ensure end-to-end integration.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of business processes related to manufacturing, materials management, and supply chain, with the ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions.
• Demonstrated analytical skills for process analysis, issue resolution, and data-driven decision-making.
• Consulting experience, including requirement gathering, stakeholder communication, and solution presentation.
• Hands-on experience with SAP modules such as PP, MM, Variant Configuration, and exposure to SAP FICO integration.
• Experience managing and maintaining master data in SAP environments.
• Relevant academic background in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• Previous experience in SAP implementation or support projects within manufacturing or related industries.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model in St Louis, MO, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Professional certifications in SAP or related areas are beneficial.
