A leading technology firm is seeking a Mid-Senior SAP Performance Testing specialist in Austin, TX for a long-term hybrid contract. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of proven experience in software testing, particularly in performance testing of SAP applications. Knowledge of performance testing tools and hands-on experience with programming languages is essential. Agile methodology experience is a plus.

Overview

Job Role : SAP Performance Testing

Location : Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Long Term Contract

Must have/required experience

• Minimum 3+ years of proven hands-on software testing experience.
• Strong experience in performance testing of SAP applications.
• Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++).
• Experience in performance testing tools - LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, Postman.
• Experience in data analysis and visualization, end-to-end performance, and root cause analysis.
• Experience in service-oriented architecture, and RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning SQL queries.
• Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques.
• Experience with application performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics.
• Efficiently work with various profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
• Experience in Cloud-based platforms like AWS and GCP.
• Expertise in performance assessment and optimization of complex applications built on SAP BTP platform.
• Strong understanding of BTP components like API management (APIM), Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) Conversational AI (CAI), Data Intelligence (SAP DI) and AWS storage services.
• Skilled in BTP technologies like Smart Data Integration (SDI) & Hana Sidecar.
• Strong experience in performance testing and analysis of SCP iOS SDK mobile apps.
• Proficient in application & DB performance monitoring in SAP BTP using Kibana, HANA DB cockpit and SAP BTP cockpit.
• Strong understanding of relational database systems as well as in-memory databases.
• Understanding of Algorithms and O-Notation
• Code management using Git or other VCS.
