Overview

Seeking a highly skilled Performance & Load Test Engineer with expertise in NeoLoad for SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscape testing. This role will support our enterprise SAP transformation program by defining, developing, executing, and analyzing performance and load tests for critical business processes during the migration to SAP S/4HANA.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in SAP performance engineering, Tricentis toolsets, HANA behavior, and end-to-end workload modeling across UI, API, and batch processes.

Performance Test Planning

• Contribute to the SAP S/4HANA Performance Test by defining scope, workloads, transaction profiles, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Identify critical business processes impacted by the ECC → S/4HANA migration (OTC, PTP, F2R, MRP, batch jobs, Fiori apps).
• Assess performance test environment readiness, including data, integrations, and technical configurations.
• Develop, parameterize, correlate, and maintain NeoLoad scripts for SAP Fiori, SAP GUI (if applicable), APIs, interfaces, and background jobs.
• Create reusable script components and manage script versioning throughout multiple test cycles.
• Collaborate with functional, data migration, and Basis teams to define and secure representative test data.
• Ensure test environments (application, database, integrations) are performance-test-ready across cycles.

Test Execution & Monitoring

• Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability test cycles.
• Monitor system performance using SAP tools (ST03N, STAD, ST05, SM50/66, HANA Studio/Cockpit) and external infrastructure monitoring solutions.
• Validate behavior across SAP application servers, HANA database, Fiori Gateway, middleware, and integrated systems.

Performance Analysis & Optimization Support

• Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks, slow transactions, SQL issues, memory/CPU constraints, and interface delays.
• Work with Basis, HANA, ABAP developers, and functional teams (Internal/External) to provide performance tuning recommendations.
• Re-test and validate improvements after fixes.

Reporting & Documentation

• Produce comprehensive, executive‑ready performance test reports including KPIs, trends, system behavior, defects, and go‑forward recommendations.
• Maintain documentation for test scripts, workload models, test cycles, data sets, and tuning notes.
