Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. in San Jose, CA seeks a Material Coordinator/Material Handler (Contract on W2) for 12 months to coordinate and expedite the flow of materials within production lines according to the schedule, leveraging SAP/MRP knowledge.

This 1st shift role supports a medical device manufacturing client and requires 40 hours per week. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; ability to read/write English.
• Two years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably medical device manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials according to the production schedule.
• Keep production area supplied with kanban raw materials and perform Kanban audits.
• Transfer released product to warehouse and maintain organized production areas.
• Track shortages using the computer system and research parts on the production floor.
• Requisition materials needed for the production area and ensure accurate inventory records.
