Job summary

Infosys is seeking a skilled SAP MM/Procurement package consultant to optimize procurement and ERP implementations in global manufacturing contexts. The role focuses on architecture, integration, and data-driven improvements across SAP S/4HANA environments.

You will lead complex customization, integration projects, and large-scale data migrations while ensuring security, compliance, and high performance. A strong client-facing, collaborative mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business processes to identify optimization opportunities and draft detailed requirement specifications that align with enterprise architecture standards
• Define and develop solution architecture, steering customization and integration efforts based on thorough business analysis
• Design and implement advanced customizations basis ERP platform's capabilities and limitations and develop critical software applications in collaboration with the development team
• Develop and implement complex integration workflows to connect the ERP system with external applications, while leading large-scale data migration strategies to ensure data integrity
• Implement advanced performance optimization strategies focused on scalability, reliability, and user experience, while leading compliance initiatives through audits, to uphold security protocols and industry standards
• Develop detailed documentation for complex ERP customizations and lead training workshops tailored to various user groups, to ensure effective knowledge transfer

In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 3, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

Required Skill and Experience

• SAP MM / Procurement – purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification, subcontracting, consignment, and STO


• S/4HANA Procurement – configuration, global template, localization, rollout, and support


• Customs & Trade Processes – import/export, material classification, country of origin, and customs declaration


• Integration – MIC or similar customs applications; SD, FI, WM/EWM, and third-party systems


• Functional Leadership – workshops, solution design, functional specifications, testing, and stakeholder management


• Experience in SAP MM / Procurement; SAP GTS experience is an advantage


• Analyze business requirements and design SAP MM / Procurement solutions aligned with organizational procurement and logistics processes


• Lead Procure-to-Pay processes covering purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification, subcontracting, consignment, and stock transport orders


• Conduct fit-gap workshops and drive solution design, configuration, localization, and integration based on the global template

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Support import and export processes, including material classification and country-of-origin requirements


• Lead integration of MIC or other customs declaration applications with SAP S/4HANA, including field identification and mapping


• Ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with SD, FI, WM/EWM, and external applications


• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for interfaces, enhancements, and defect resolution


• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT, and support data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare


• Work closely with business stakeholders, manage delivery activities, and guide functional consultants


• Recommend best-practice procurement and trade compliance solutions within the S/4HANA landscape

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.


• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
