Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking an experienced SAP/MES specialist to lead manufacturing operations, logistics, and data governance at our Tempe site. You will drive system improvements, ensure data integrity, and enable end-to-end visibility across production and supply chains.

Key responsibilities include optimizing SAP and MES usage, supporting WIP and production reporting, and collaborating with IT and business teams to implement scalable solutions in a high-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing operations, production systems, logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain processes.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with SAP manufacturing and logistics modules (PP, MM, WM/EWM, IM).
• Experience implementing MES in semiconductor/high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of master data governance and process standardization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary business process expert for SAP and MES-related manufacturing operations.
• Define and maintain business process requirements, transaction workflows, master data governance, and manufacturing system standards.
• Lead MES-related activities including WIP management, dispatching, quality control, and production reporting.
• Support logistics and warehouse operations with SAP-enabled transactions and SOPs.
• Partner with IT, GIS, and solution providers to drive system improvements and roadmap initiatives.
