Job summary

Visionsoft International is seeking an experienced SAP MDG Support Engineer to provide production support for MDG processes, focusing on Material Master and Business Partner data in a hybrid work model in Irving, TX.

You will work with SAP MDG, S/4HANA, ABAP, MDG workflows, BRF+, and data replication, collaborating with business users and cross‑functional SAP teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and maintain data quality across the system landscape.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for SAP MDG processes covering Material Master and Business Partner data.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and MDG-related issues.
• Analyze MDG workflows, BRF+ validations, and Change Requests for root cause.
• Implement sustainable solutions to recurring MDG issues.
• Support and enhance SAP MDG custom developments.
• Collaborate with ABAP teams on programs, workflows, interfaces.
• Maintain and support MDG Fiori applications.
• Troubleshoot Fiori catalog and role validation and access issues.
• Execute testing for MDG enhancements and changes.
• Support data replication with SAP DRF.
• Assist UAT and production deployments.
• Partner with business users and data stewards to maintain data quality.
• Ensure MDG processes comply with data governance standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements.
• Provide user training and maintain MDG documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams to support integrated processes.

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP MDG Support Engineer to provide production support and technical expertise for SAP Master Data Governance processes, with a focus on Material Master and Business Partner master data.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with SAP MDG, S/4HANA, and ABAP, along with experience supporting MDG workflows, validations, BRF+, change requests, custom developments, Fiori applications, and data replication processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with business users, data stewards, technical teams, and cross‑functional SAP teams to resolve production issues, enhance MDG processes, maintain master data quality, and support ongoing system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide production support for SAP MDG processes covering Material Master and Business Partner master data
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, service requests, workflow issues, validation errors, and master data‑related problems.
• Analyze MDG workflow, BRF+, validation, and Change Request issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Recommend and implement sustainable solutions to recurring MDG issues.
• Support and enhance SAP MDG custom developments.
• Collaborate with technical teams on ABAP programs, workflows, data models, enhancements, BADIs, and interfaces.
• Maintain and support SAP Fiori applications associated with MDG.
• Troubleshoot Fiori application issues, including catalog and role validation, user access, and usability concerns.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression testing for MDG enhancements and system changes.
• Support data replication processes using SAP DRF.
• Support UAT activities and production deployments.
• Partner with business users and data stewards to maintain high-quality master data.
• Ensure MDG processes comply with enterprise data governance standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend technical or functional enhancements.
• Provide user support and training as required.
