Job summary

Deloitte's SAP practice is seeking a Manager to lead data governance across SAP MDG environments for major client transformations in the United States. You will design, implement, and sustain enterprise data governance capabilities, drive governance models, and guide architecture decisions while mentoring teams.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to expand value through MDG, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled governance, with travel up to 50% supporting multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree plus 10+ years of SAP/ERP/consulting experience.
• 8+ years of SAP/ERP/enterprise data management consulting experience.
• 5+ years in SAP MDG/MDM or data governance with at least 1 team/workstream leadership.
• Contributed to at least 4 SAP MDG/MDM/data governance implementations, including 2 full lifecycle projects.
• Experience delivering MDG/data governance across 2+ master data domains (e.g., material, customer, vendor).
• Designed/implemented a data governance operating model with 3+ components (stewardship, policies, workflows, etc.).
• Managed at least 1 client-facing workstream with scope, budget, schedule, staffing, risks, and delivery quality.
• Willingness to travel ~50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP MDG and data governance workstreams, including design and delivery oversight.
• Advise on data governance operating models, policies, standards, and data quality measures.
• Oversee data migration across SAP landscapes coordinating with multiple data workstreams.
• Guide MDG architecture decisions and integration approaches within SAP environments.
• Manage workstreams with scope, budgets, staffing, risks, and delivery quality; mentor team members.
• Lead senior stakeholder workshops and identify value expansion opportunities through MDG, analytics and AI-enabled governance.
