Job summary

Breakthru Beverage is seeking a Data Specialist to manage material and customer master data in SAP as we transition to S/4HANA Cloud. You’ll guard accuracy, implement governance, and work with IT and business units across the organization.

You will participate in data transformation projects, monitor data quality KPIs, and ensure compliance with internal security and CCPA policies while supporting a hybrid work schedule with in-office and remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with SAP ERP systems (ECC or S/4 HANA).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL) and data concepts.
• Knowledge of data-governance frameworks and SAP MDG.
• Proficiency with SharePoint and SAP Information Steward.
• MS Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication, diplomacy, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry and Maintenance: create, modify, and inactivate material master data per standards.
• Create, maintain, and enrich customer master data to support sales operations.
• Conduct regular data quality checks and resolve discrepancies.
• Implement and enforce data governance policies and meet SLAs.
• Data Governance and Quality: define data definitions, standards, and rules.
• Monitor data quality metrics and drive continuous improvements.
• Engage in governance groups and train end-users on processes.
• Track data quality KPIs and publish breaches as needed.
• Ensure data handling complies with CCPA and internal security protocols.
