Job summary

A technology consulting firm in New Jersey is seeking a seasoned professional with over 10 years of techno-functional experience in SAP applications, particularly SAP MDG. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in client-facing roles and a strong understanding of MDG configurations. A broad view of related data platforms and experience presenting to senior leadership will be advantageous. SAP MDG certification is preferred but not required.

Job description

Qualifications

• 10+ years of techno functional experience in applications such as SAP Data Management, SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), SAP Data Services (BODS), and SAP Information Steward
• At least 7 years of experience in a client-facing consulting delivery role managing an onsite/offshore delivery model
• Experience in MDG configuration of Business Partner/ Customer/ Vendor/Financial Objects/Material required and the ability to advise on the best practices in SAP EIM / MDG solution stack
• Strong grasp on data/ process modeling, UI Design, derivations, duplicate data checks, and Rule‑based Workflow (BRF PLUS) required
• Demonstrate strong understanding and hands‑on experience across core MDG frameworks, including:
  • Central Governance
  • Consolidation and Mass Processing
  • Data Quality Management (DQM)
• Understanding of replication frameworks with data transfer, ALE/IDOC, key & value mapping, and MDG export, import, and conversion of master data required
• Broad view of data platforms that are used with MDM, such as NetWeaver, XI, Tibco, and ABAP, are a plus
• Experience presenting to senior customer leadership preferred
