Job summary

Magna Steyr in Mesa, AZ is seeking an SAP Logistics Specialist to optimize and support SAP logistics modules in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing setting. You will partner with supply chain, production, procurement, and IT to drive improvements and sustain inventory integrity.

The role requires 3–7+ years in SAP logistics, strong SAP module knowledge, and the ability to train and support end users while developing SOPs for processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–7+ years of experience in SAP logistics within a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules: MM, WM/EWM, PP (SD is a plus).
• Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, and production support.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot SAP issues and improve business processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support SAP logistics modules, including MM (MaterialsManagement), WM/EWM (Warehouse Management), and PP (ProductionPlanning).
• Ensure accurate material master data, BOMs, and inventory transactions within SAP.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues impacting logistics, warehouse, and production operations.
• Support inbound/outbound logistics processes, including goods receipt, put away, picking, and shipping.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system workflows and material flow efficiency.
• Lead or support SAP enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy and transaction integrity.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for SAP logistics processes.
• Provide training and support to end users on SAP functionality.
• Analyze data and generate reports to support KPIs, planning, and decision-making.
