Job summary

SIMARN Solutions seeks an experienced SAP MM Lead to drive a large-scale S/4HANA transformation focused on Source-to-Settle and procurement processes. The role requires hands-on SAP MM configuration, workshop leadership, and strong stakeholder collaboration.

The onsite position in Fremont, CA offers exposure to global teams, cross-functional design sessions, and an opportunity to shape end-to-end MM solutions across PP/PI, FI/CO, Ariba, and MES integrations.

Qualifications

• HHands-on SAP MM configuration and implementation.
• Deep knowledge of S2S and P2P processes.
• Experience with S/4HANA Procurement and SAP S/4HANA migrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP MM / S2S solution design and implementation in S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and perform fit-gap analysis.
• Configure SAP MM processes: PRs, POs, Inventory, GR/IR, Vendor management, valuation and account determination.
• Support legacy ECC MM to S/4HANA transition and global process establishment.
• Design integrations between SAP MM and FI/CO, SD, PP, WM/EWM, Ariba; coordinate with PLM/MES like Siemens Teamcenter/Opcenter.
• Coordinate interfaces using IDocs and APIs; engage global teams through design to stabilization.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Lead (Source-to-Settle / S2S) to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program.

Work Arrangement: Onsite in Fremont every alternate week

Only USC and GC are eligible for this position.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SAP MM, S/4HANA Procurement, and Source-to-Settle (S2S/P2P) processes, along with experience leading solution design, workshops, integrations, and enterprise transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP MM / Source-to-Settle solution design and implementation activities within an S/4HANA environment.


• Partner with business stakeholders and functional SMEs to understand procurement and materials management requirements.


• Lead requirement-gathering workshops, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and functional documentation.


• Configure and support SAP MM processes including Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Procurement, Inventory Management, GR/IR, Vendor Management, Valuation & Account Determination, Release Strategies, and Service Procurement.


• Support the transition from legacy SAP ECC MM to SAP S/4HANA and help establish scalable global processes.


• Design and support integrations between SAP MM and FI/CO, SD, PP, WM/EWM, and SAP Ariba.


• Support integration between S/4HANA and PLM/MES platforms, including Siemens Teamcenter and Opcenter/Mendix.


• Support synchronization of material master data, BOMs, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), inventory consumption, serial numbers, and WIP information across enterprise systems.


• Support migration of legacy vendor/customer master data to the S/4HANA Business Partner (BP) model and establish strong master-data governance.


• Coordinate interfaces using IDocs, APIs, and other integration technologies.


• Work closely with global functional, technical, business, and delivery teams throughout design, testing, deployment, and stabilization.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP MM configuration and implementation.


• Deep understanding of Source-to-Settle (S2S) / Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.


• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Procurement and S/4HANA transformation programs.


• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, materials valuation, pricing procedures, account determination, and release strategies.


• Strong integration knowledge across SAP FI/CO, PP, SD, WM/EWM, and Ariba.


• Experience leading workshops, requirements discussions, fit-gap analysis, and solution-design sessions.


• Strong client-facing, stakeholder-management, analytical, and communication skills.


• Experience preparing functional specifications, process documentation, and testing documentation.


• Familiarity with SAP Fiori, Azure DevOps (ADO), JIRA, HP ALM, or similar delivery/testing tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating SAP with PLM and MES platforms, particularly Siemens Teamcenter, Opcenter, or Mendix.


• Experience with IDocs and API-based integrations.


• Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.


• Semiconductor industry experience is highly desirable.

Candidates must be comfortable working onsite in Fremont, CA every alternate week.
