Avensys Consulting Pte Ltd seeks an experienced SAP IBP OBP consultant to lead global supply chain planning initiatives. The role focuses on Order-Based Planning, Response & Supply Planning, and integration with SAP S/4HANA/ECC for complex deployments.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in SAP Supply Chain Planning, hands-on IBP OBP, and strong client-facing communication skills. This is a remote India-based contract (6 months, extendable) with EU shift timings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP Supply Chain Planning experience.
• ≥3 years hands-on SAP IBP OBP experience.
• Strong SAP IBP RSP expertise.
• Experience configuring planning areas, key figures, attributes, master data.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced SAP IBP Order-Based Planning (OBP) Consultant with strong expertise in implementing and supporting SAP IBP planning solutions for global supply chain organizations. The ideal candidate should possess deep functional knowledge of Order-Based Planning, Response & Supply Planning, supply planning processes, and SAP S/4HANA integration.

Location : India(REMOTE)

Type : Contract (6 months -extendable)

Experience : 8+ years

Shift : EU - 12 pm to 9 pm IST- Remote

Requirements:

• 8+ years of overall SAP Supply Chain Planning experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP IBP Order-Based Planning (OBP).
• Strong expertise in SAP IBP Response & Supply Planning (RSP).
• Proven experience configuring planning areas, key figures, attributes, master data, and planning operators.
• Strong knowledge of supply propagation, order prioritization, pegging, and supply allocation concepts.
• Experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments.
• Hands-on experience in at least one full-cycle SAP IBP OBP implementation project.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning, inventory planning, procurement, manufacturing, and distribution processes.
• Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and hypercare support.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• SAP IBP certification is preferred.
• Experience with APO PP/DS to IBP OBP migration will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end SAP IBP Order-Based Planning (OBP) implementations and rollouts.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP IBP solutions.
• Design, configure, and optimize SAP IBP OBP and Response & Supply Planning (RSP) functionalities.
• Configure planning areas, key figures, attributes, master data, planning levels, and business rules.
• Implement and support supply planning processes, including supply propagation, order prioritization, and constraint-based planning.
• Work on multi-level pegging, allocation, and order fulfillment scenarios.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve planning accuracy and supply chain performance.
• Drive workshops, solution design discussions, gap analysis, and process improvements.
• Support integration between SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA/ECC systems.
• Execute testing activities including SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and production deployment.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and continuous enhancement of planning solutions.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to SAP IBP best practices.
