Job summary

Staff Perm in Richardson, TX seeks an experienced SAP IBP Architect/Lead to drive the design and implementation of integrated planning solutions. You will own architecture for Demand Planning, Supply & Response, and Inventory Optimization, ensuring scalable, high-volume processing across SAP IBP modules.

This role requires 5+ years in SAP IBP, hands-on CPI‑DS/SDI/RTI experience, and collaboration with IT and business partners to define data structures, readiness, and governance aligned with ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years SAP IBP implementation and architecture experience.
• Hands-on with IBP Demand Planning, Supply & Response, and Inventory Optimization.
• Experience with SAP integrations (ECC/S/4HANA) and CPI-DS/SDI/RTI.
• Strong requirements analysis and enterprise architecture skills.

Responsibilities

• Optimize system responsiveness and scalability.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Parts Operations, and IT stakeholders to translate business challenges into SAP IBP solutions.
• Manage a prioritized roadmap aligned with PDC enablement, ERP rollout, and post-go-live enhancements.
• Define and optimize planning areas, key figures, and master data structures.
• Support data readiness including cleansing, transformation, and harmonization.
• Ensure integration between SAP IBP, SAP ECC, and external systems.
• Support PDC blueprinting and phased implementation activities.
• Participate in all project lifecycle phases including design, build, test, deploy, and hypercare.
• Support user acceptance testing and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to SAP IBP best practices, IT standards, and governance.
• Document solution architecture, processes, and milestones.
• Support long-term SAP IBP maturity and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.


• 5+ years of SAP IBP implementation and solution architecture experience.


• Hands-on expertise with SAP IBP Demand Planning, Supply Planning / Response & Supply, and Inventory Optimization.


• Experience with SAP CPI-DS, SDI, RTI, and SAP ERP integrations (ECC and/or S/4HANA).


• Strong experience in high-volume, exception-based planning environments.


• Proven expertise in business requirements analysis and solution design.


• Experience with full software development lifecycle and enterprise architecture design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aftermarket, service parts, or distribution-focused business environments.


• Experience supporting multi-ERP consolidation or transformation initiatives.


• Exposure to data lake and advanced analytics platforms.


• Experience supporting large-scale transaction environments involving purchase orders, order lines, and exception management.


• Ability to assess SAP IBP limitations and recommend alternative business or technical solutions.
