Job summary

Shrive Technologies LLC seeks an experienced SAP US Payroll Functional Consultant for an onsite role to support SAP US Payroll configuration, testing, integrations and production support with strong knowledge of US payroll and taxes. Hands-on experience across payroll schemas, wage types, and interfacing with Finance is required.

The role involves configuring and supporting BSI TaxFactory, garnishments, benefits integration, and end-to-end payroll testing in an onsite delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise for SAP US Payroll and US tax processing.
• Configure and maintain BSI TaxFactory; support tax update testing.
• Configure garnishments, benefits and payroll post to Finance.
• Support payroll interfaces and wage-type configurations.
• Perform end-to-end payroll testing and time management configurations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with HR and IT for system upgrades and patches.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP US Payroll Functional Consultant for an onsite role. The consultant will support SAP US Payroll configuration, testing, integrations and production support, with strong functional knowledge of US payroll and taxes. The role requires hands-on experience across payroll schemas and rules, BSI TaxFactory, wage types, garnishments, benefits, time management and payroll-to-Finance integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise for SAP US Payroll and US tax processing.
• Configure and maintain BSI TaxFactory; support Tax Update Bulletin application and associated testing.
• Configure and support garnishments and related payroll processing.
• Configure benefits and validate integration of benefits with payroll.
• Support payroll posting to Finance and validate payroll-to-Finance integration.
• Analyze, configure and troubleshoot payroll schemas and personnel calculation rules.
• Configure and support direct deposit and check processing.
• Support HR Service Pack implementations, impact validation and end-to-end payroll testing.
• Configure wage types, including payment models and taxability settings.
• Support integration and interfaces between SAP Payroll and third-party vendors.
• Perform production support, root-cause analysis and resolution for configuration, development, data and process-related payroll issues.
• Implement and support positive and negative time management.
• Support Time Management / Time Evaluation, including schema updates.
• Support year-end payroll testing and application/testing of legal notes.
• Configure and test remuneration statements.

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP US Payroll and US payroll taxes.
• Hands-on experience with BSI TaxFactory configuration, maintenance and tax update testing.
• Deep functional knowledge of SAP Payroll schemas and rules.
• Experience with wage type configuration, payment models and taxability setup.
• Experience with garnishments, benefits integration, direct deposit/check configuration and payroll posting to Finance.
• Experience with SAP Time Management and Time Evaluation, including positive and negative time management.
• Experience supporting HR Service Packs, year-end testing and legal-note application/testing.
• Experience integrating SAP with third-party vendors and supporting related interfaces.
• At least one end-to-end, full lifecycle SAP US Payroll implementation.
• Strong production-support and root-cause-analysis experience across configuration, development, data and process issues.
