Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Technology Analysis to lead SAP Funds Management and Grants Management initiatives for government clients. You will bridge business needs and technical solutions, aligning system architecture with financial objectives and guiding cross-functional teams across SAP modules.

Based in the US with regular travel, you will oversee design, configuration, and delivery while mentoring SAP consultants and ensuring compliant postings and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (4-year).
• 8+ years of SAP S/4 Implementation experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP Funds Management and Grants Management experience.
• Strong experience with SAP FI including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting and reporting.
• Experience leading SAP implementation projects and managing functional teams.
• Strong understanding of government budgeting, appropriations, funds control and public sector operations.
• Excellent client-facing, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Funds Management and SAP Grants Management for government clients.
• Define and implement funds control, budget availability control, commitment management, and budget execution processes.
• Provide subject matter expertise on budget formulation, execution, and compliance requirements.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, design workshops, and solution validation sessions.
• Lead integration between SAP Funds Management and SAP FI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams supporting Budgeting, Grants, Procurement, Project Systems, and Treasury.
• Ensure accurate financial postings, reporting, and reconciliation across SAP modules.
• Manage SAP functional consultants and project resources.
• Oversee project planning, staffing, deliverables, QA, and risk management.
