Job summary

Steelhead Tubular, LLC seeks an experienced SAP ERP leader to manage the complete SAP Business One deployment lifecycle within a manufacturing context. You will guide planning, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support across functional teams including inventory, finance, and logistics.

The role requires 5+ years of SAP experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication to drive adoption of SAP processes and integration with external consultants.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP functional experience with strong focus on Manufacturing (PP/MM or similar).
• Extensive knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA SD features and capabilities.
• Proven leadership in driving large-scale technology transformation projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with data migration and post-implementation optimization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of SAP Business One deployment from design to go-live.
• Plan data-driven end-to-end transformation integrating SAP standard processes.
• Identify process improvements within manufacturing SAP environment.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external SAP consultants.
• Develop end-user training materials and support post-implementation adoption.
• Coordinate vendor management to ensure timely, within-budget delivery.
• Oversee data migration of sales and distribution data from legacy systems.

This role involves managing all aspects of the platform transition, including planning, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. In this pivotal role, you will provide critical leadership and guidance to functions, utilizing your extensive knowledge and experience of the SAP Business One

Position Responsibilities: may include:

• SAP Business One Implementation:Oversee the full lifecycle of SAP Business One deployment, from initial system design, configuring and customizing the system to meet Daikin's unique requirements, to conducting comprehensive system and user acceptance testing, to finally deploying the system.
• Planning and Strategy:Create a data-driven approach to plan for Daikin's end-to-end business transformation towards SAP standard processes. Evaluate our existing processes and create strategic plans to integrate these with SAP functionalities.
• Process Optimization:Understand business processes in the manufacturing area, identify areas for improvement, and ensure the solution aligns with SAP environment.
• Stakeholder Management:Work closely with relevant internal and external stakeholders, including inventory, finance, logistics, to ensure seamless integration of SAP functions with other business operations. Also, manage relationships with external SAP consultants and solution providers.
• Training and Support:Develop a comprehensive training program for end users, thus driving SAP adoption across the organization. This includes conceptualizing user manuals, training materials, and reference guides.
• Vendor Management:Collaborate with SAP consultants and other technology partners to ensure project deliverables are met within timelines and budgets.
• Data Integrity and Migration:Oversee the migration of sales and distribution data from legacy systems to SAP ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Continuous Improvement:Post-implementation, continuously monitor manufacturing ERP processes within SAP to identify and implement further enhancements.

Knowledge & Skills:

• 5+ years of SAP functional experience with strong focus on Manufacturing (PP/MM or similar).
• Extensive knowledge of the integral functions, features, and capabilities of SAP S/4 HANA SD
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of driving large-scale technology transformation projects to completion.
• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and robust decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Experience:

• 10 plus years of direct experience with SAP modules
• Quickbooks

Education/Certification:

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
