Overview

Daikin Applied is seeking a Senior Digital Business Analyst – Logistics. In this role you will work directly with logistics business leaders, business users, and Digital teammates to plan, define, design, specify, test, train, implement, and support logistics‑related business processes, systems, and integrations. You will need a strong background in logistics business objectives and processes to be successful.

Daikin Applied is on Oracle E‑Business Suite 12.2.12 running on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and will transition to SAP S4/HANA within the next two years.

Location

Plymouth, MN – Hybrid.

What You Will Do

• Provide subject‑matter expertise to business customers and technical resources.
• Establish awareness of business process and technology solution best practices within a specific business segment.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret complex manufacturing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate and forge relationships with all levels within Digital organizations and its customers to build mutual trust and foster high‑level project partnership.
• Investigate issues with manufacturing applications, perform root‑cause analysis, and coordinate resources to resolve issues.
• Develop and document solution‑design alternatives, leading a group to finalize recommendations and document rationale.
• Define project requirements to secure business support, funding, and resources.
• Lead or participate in cross‑functional business projects.
• Estimate high‑level project timelines, resource needs, and funding requirements.
• Clarify and document current‑state, future‑state, and gaps between the two states.
• Communicate functional requirements/specifications to the development team.
• Mentor and guide junior team members when appropriate.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years’ experience in manufacturing or corporate business environments.
• Experience with Oracle EBS modules including Order Management, WMS, and Inventory.
• Strong background in logistics objectives and processes.
• Willingness to work in an end‑user environment, supporting and assisting end users.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and administer business projects.
• Experience gathering, clarifying, quantifying, and documenting business project requirements.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree.
• Experience with SAP S4/HANA ERP.
• 6+ years’ experience in manufacturing or corporate business environments.

Salary

The typical annual base salary ranges from $90,000 to $153,300, plus a 10% bonus in Minnesota. Individual base pay depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
